Sunset Safaris!
Discover the Sanctuary as you’ve never seen it before at our new Summer Sunset Safaris!
Join us every Wednesday throughout August and experience a relaxed summer evening surrounded by our rescued animals in a beautiful setting as the sun sets over Sandown Bay. Wander through the Sanctuary after-hours, enjoy a chance to see our animals settling down for the night, and learn more about their individual stories from our passionate Wildheart team.
Soak up the atmosphere in our picnic area with a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) from our cocktail bar, relax in a deckchair and enjoy live acoustic music from some of the Island’s best up and coming artists. Try a delicious plant-based barbecue featuring our popular cheeseburgers, then gather around the fire pit to toast marshmallows as the evening draws in.
With an exciting programme of activities and animal talks to be announced soon, our Sunset Safaris offer the perfect evening for families, friends and wildlife lovers alike!
Advance booking is essential as places are limited. These popular events regularly sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment!

- Our Sunset Safaris are on-foot only, and no cars will be allowed inside the Sanctuary grounds.
- Parking is free on the night. Please enter your car registration when booking your tickets.
