Step into the world of wildlife photography right here at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary with our new Bear Photography Workshops!

Enjoy a half-day experience designed especially for beginners and keen amateurs. Whether you’re bringing a DSLR, or simply your mobile phone, this workshop gives you the unique opportunity to photograph our resident bears from exclusive, safely sectioned locations. With expert guidance from our professional wildlife photographer KJ, you’ll learn how to capture expressive, dynamic images while enjoying a relaxed, supportive environment perfect for building your skills and confidence.

This workshop includes entry to the Sanctuary for the whole day, so please feel free to arrive when we open at 10am to enjoy a full day out with our rescued animals!

• Half-day Bear Photography Workshop
• Dates available: 4th April, 23rd May, 15th August and 19th September
• Times: 12:45pm to 4:45pm (please arrive by 12:30pm)
• £150 per person, or £135 for members
• Tea, coffee and biscuits available

Please note:

• Participants must be 16 years old or over. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
• The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary is an all-weather venue, so please come dressed appropriately.
• We will provide an undercover, secure area to store your belongings during the workshop.
• In the event that our bears are not active on the day of the workshop, we reserve the right to move to another area of the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary to photograph some of our other animals.
• We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if there are not sufficient spaces reserved. You will be advised at least one week in advance.
