Astronaut Challenge
Join us for an exciting evening of space themed fun here at the Sanctuary on Saturday 4th January 2025 and Saturday 1st February 2025. You'll have the rare chance to experience our site during the hours of darkness and get to try out our amazing astronaut challenge.
We'll be opening the doors to our Wildheart Cafe at 5:30pm, where you can hear all about stargazing, space exploration the night skies around our Island, with our expert friends from Vectis Astronomical Society. Keep warm with a delicious hot chocolate in our cosy cafe before heading out to embark on an astronomical adventure!

Adventure into space themed light and sound in our 4D experience
Space themed crafts - make a solar system mask and a constellation in a cup
Get up close to the surface of the moon with our terrific telescopes
Have a go at astrophotography
Try your hand at our astronaut challenges and earn yourself a glow in the dark Astronaut Challenge badge
Tickets are £10 per person (including an amazing astronaut challenge badge). Parking is free on the night, so please ensure you have provided your car registration when booking.
